A state that hosts more than 400 fairs and festivals is sure to know how to throw a party! Louisianians celebrate everything from culture to crops to cuisine. During FrancoFête in 1998, many fairs and festivals throughout Louisiana included a French component in their programming. Other festivals were organized exclusively for FrancoFête.
